Strange Folk are a professional band with many years of experience. We can offer a bespoke gig to suit any occasion, reverting back to the band's roots for a folk performance, or full electric, for that stadium rock sound.

It is always difficult to describe a band that plays their own original material, a concoction of many different genres: folk/rock/indie/gothic, even metal, making for an exciting and unique performance. Some have compared us to: Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Evanescence, Sandy Denny, Fairport Convention, All About Eve, Janis Joplin and even a strange one: The Bangles? Please do let us know your thoughts? But more importantly we hope you enjoy our music.

A not quite turned vampire in limbo. She is reminiscing and summoning her vampire love, to come and finish the job. She yearns for them to unite in a vampiric renaissance.

The single "Glitter" can be download via our Music page.

The  single and video also guest stars Helen Robertson, who has added a beautiful haunting cello part that takes the song to another level. Long time supporter of the band James Spurr has also kindly assisted in putting the video together, working alongside Ian Pragnell (our bass player) who has spend many hours recording and mixing/mastering the track, so a big thank you to Helen, Ian and James in making this project possible.
